Open the scanner unit by placing your fingers on a dent. Gently shake the BK cartridge four to five times. Do not shake the other cartridges. Remove ink cartridges from their packages. Remove a cap from a new cartridge. Keep the removed cap in the plastic bag supplied.Do not touch the parts in circles. Place the ink cartridge diagonally. Push it gently down until it clicks into place.Install all ink cartridges.Check that the ink cartridges are tight. Close the scanner unit. Press the OK button. Wait for the initialization to complete. Do not open the scanner unit, disconnect the power cord or turn off the device during initialization. Initialization is complete. Press the OK button. Press the OK button again. Press the OK button. Then place A4 paper. Open the front cover and pull out the lower cassette. Slide the side guides. Place the printable side of the paper down until the paper arrives at the end. Adjust the side guides. Make sure there is no paper above the side guide. Reinsert the lower cassette into the printer and close the front cover. Press the OK button. Open the front cover and lift the control panel. Pull out the output tray. A nozzle check pattern is printed. When all lines have been printed, press the OK button. Press the OK button again. Press the OK button. An alignment pattern is printed. Select the number of the pattern with the least visible vertical lines. Select the number with the Plus / Min buttons. Press the OK button. Select the other numbers in the same way. Press the OK button. An alignment pattern is printed. Select the number for the least separated and overlapping pattern. Select the number with the Plus / Min buttons. Press the OK button. Press the OK button again. The adjustment is complete. Then set up the computer and / or smartphone. Run a browser. Open in the browser.
